Hair style and make-up haul. New products!!!

I was so excited to get my salary last end of July because, ahhmmm... we all know what is bound to happen... SHOPPING!!! YAY! Lol!

Yep, once again, I wasn't able to help myself. I just can't resist it! I mean, Who can?!!! Anyway, I told myself that this shopping was intended to help me further with my goal to be a beauty guru.

I tried my best to stick to my limits. In shopping, since I am just starting, I must find the cheapest deals and I must only buy the things that I need not the things that I want. CHOS!

Below is Herlene's newest beauty arsenal! :D

Let us start with the hair. I was so happy to see this Vidal Sassoon Ceramic Hair Straightener because I bought it for only $35.00 sgd. However, I bought this because I thought I could use it as a curler too. But, I was wrong. I still couldn't curl my hair with this. Maybe I need more practice.

This Lucido-L Airy Curls is to be used before curling with heat. I got this for less than $10 dollars. I like this product a lot because it protects the hair from heat and it makes styling easier.

This Lucido-L Hair Spray Super Hard set the hair after styling. It gives a clean, neat finish with no stiffness. I used this product when I did "Punk Thursday". I got this for $10 dollars as well.

This is my Basicare Tail Comb. I got this without even reading that this comb is anti-static that makes it perfect for styling. I used it to tease my hair and it simply makes wonders! Love it!

Of course, I need bobby pins and elastics! I must say, I was kind of surprise that they are a bit pricey. I didn't think that each pack could cost me $3 dollars. So, I am going to be really careful using these black stuff.

This is the product that I like the most. It is the Ginvera Olive Oil Hair Cream. It's less than $3 dollars and it makes my hair easier to style. It's like giving my hair the stickiness but in a dry way. I don't know how to explain it but it just really had a nice hold of my hair.

For make-up, I got this Catrice Sun Glow Bronzing Powder. I planned to use this for contouring. I am not a fan of this make-up yet. I haven't really seen its glowing effect. Still on trial mode for this.

Lastly, I got myself an eye primer. It Etude House's Proof 10 Eye Primer. Still not a fan of this product. I have only used this once. Let me try it some more and I will update you guys if this product is worth $11 dollars.

So my purchases had hits and missed. I know I will be trying and buying some more stuff. I guess if I really want to learn and if I am really passionate about something, I won't think about the expenses and just focus on what I am getting from it.
