One Boring Sunday...

Do you recognize who this person is? It's meeeee!!! Hahahaha.. Out of millions of photos we took, this has got to be my favorite. I mean, I don't like me looking like a dude.. Or maybe my make-up effect wasn't good enough..yet.. Maybe I'll try this again when another boring Sunday comes along.

Please enjoy my insanity.. I also attached a timelapse video of this transformation below. Pardon me for my messy room and room-mate..  :P

Anniversary Post! Happy One Year to my BLOG! Wedding Look

I was shocked to know that it has been a year that I started this blog of mine. I was really happy that I have this outlet for me to just express myself.

For my anniversary celebration, I decided to create a look that is personal at the moment. Since I will be getting married soon, why not I create a look for my big day.

I have been asked who's going to do my make-up on that special day.. I really believe and I hope that it's gonna be me. (fingers-crossed.. hmm...palms together, much better)

But when I created this look, I was a bit worried. I still need to perfect that flawless glow that every bride has.

I really had to wear white to get that "bride vibe." I'll still try to create other looks that'll hopefully be useful for the big day. I am not sold on this make-up yet. I can still push a little more to make the look more pressed and clean and flawless. :D

I'd like to thank you guys for checking my blog entries. I hope for your continued support and LOVE! :D

A day in the life of an HMUA: Level Up! I did make-up to Maui Taylor!!!! WEEEEEEEHHHHH!!

So I was invited to do make-up to one of Philippines most famous sexy celebrities...MAUI TAYLOR! Holy shoot! I didn't expect this at all.

I was referred by my good friend Janna to one of the organizers of the event, Mike Cruz. To cut the story short, Mike invited me and challenged me to do make-up to the most popular member of the group Viva Hot Babes.

I was nervous and anxious of course. Who wouldn't, right? Like this was totally from another dimension! Although I used to do make-up to foreigners, doing it to celebs makes it more nerve-racking.

However, I did enjoy the experience. I tried my best to be professional even though inside I was like, "Oh goodness! I'm in front of Ms.Maui Taylor!" face to face, not to mention the equally sexy and famous women, Katya Santos and Jaycee Parker were just around.

Below are some photos taken from the shoot at Tanjong Beach, Sentosa.

Ms.Maui and ate Hazel Amagna. I was able to take a photo inside their hotel room after I did her make-up. Thanks ate Hazel for helping out.

These photos were taken by Giandi Lacamiento, my talented fiancĂ© and edited by yours truly, moi! :D Really loving the panorama-ish feels.

You can notice the photos focused on Ms.Maui's face. That's because as a make-up artist, I want to highlight her make-up. I was so happy with the outcome. The foundation I used to her just blended well on her. She has flawless face and it was not hard to do make-up on her.

She did say her preferences for the eyes and brows. She only wanted soft colors on her eyes and didn't want eye-liner. I just kept asking her if what I did was enough for her.

She knows what she wants and I respect that. Like what Ms.Kutz said, the other HMUA that day, they are the one posing for the photographers so whatever makes them comfortable, we'll gladly comply.

I hope she liked the look that we gave her and our service as well. :D

Some BTS for you guys! :D

Team Maui! xoxo

me and my beautiful muse!

Of course, I did not let myself to be left out. Pose din ako! :p chos!

I hope you guys enjoy this episode. hehehehe.. I hope there are more projects to come and even more celebrities to do make-up for.. HOPING..

Thanks for taking the time. Super thanks to Shifters, S3P and BPP for this wonderful opportunity! :D

My "Felt like wearing make-up" day

Since this is the only portal where I can do selfies, I am posting these photos taken today 8th of March. I miss doing my make-up and I miss having selfies.

Note, these photos were edited. Not in a way that I changed the make-up or my facial features. However, I needed to take away all my acne scars. Not to deceive you guys but mainly for personal purpose. I miss having clear skin. I miss my oily skin with tiny bumps here and there. I don't like these acne and scars. I hope my face gets better.

Anyway, lemme bore you with my selfies. Hahahaha

I love selfies!!! YAY! hahahaha.. lovin my fake lashes too.. Here's to make-up and photo editor!!!

A day in the life of an HMUA: Alexia the risk-taker

As mentioned earlier, I did make-up for 2 French women, Maelle and Alexia. They are the owners of Foxysales, www.foxysales.com a leading flash sales website dedicated to moms, babies and kids in South East.

For Alexia, I took the lead and I asked her if she's keen to wear red lips. She told me "Let's just do it!" I was happy. I was thinking of giving her a simple look, but definitely, the red lips will stand out.

For her eyes, I gave her very light shade of eye shadow and just did a winged-tip eye using liquid eye-liner. Now this was very new to me. Something I only did to myself once. When applying to another person, it was extremely tricky! I actually belief that I mess it up a bit. But since Alexia has deep-set eyes, the wing-tip on her eyelid just hid and concealed itself.

When I applied the red lipstick, her daughter, who was beside us, made a remark! Alexia laughed and told me all about her daughter's reaction. Clearly, the little kid was not used to seeing her mom putting on strong colours on her face. It made me nervous but I was actually pleased once I was done with her.
 Here is the look.

Wingtip slightly showing here. :)

Seeing before and after photos of Maelle and Alexia made me feel so happy. Their faces lit up and they seemed healthier and livelier.

I hope you guys find inspirations on the looks I did. I know my blog doesn't really tell you step by step on how to achieve the look. I plan to have those type of blog soon though..if I can think of ways to go around it. Through videos perhaps but I am not confident yet.. Hahahaha..

But for now, I'd like to thank you for spending some time to read and take a look at these make-up looks. Love you guys. :D
